Este proyecto parte del deseo de una profesora de música, por complementar el sonido del piano con el del agua.
Utilizando la casa existente como lienzo y el anhelo de la profesora, intervenimos toda la parte baja de la fachada. Generando un vano que conecta el interior con el exterior, -el sonido del piano, con el sonido del agua-.
No solamente queríamos hacer un elemento que se adosara a la casa, sino poder construir una sola pieza con la fachada, el piso y la fuente. Creando así un guardapolvo que sirve como basamento, mismo que dicta la forma de la fuente, y finalmente la fuente termina por fundirse con el piso.
Cinco Fountain
This project arises from the desire of a music teacher to complement the sound of the piano with that of water.
Using the existing house as a canvas and inspired by the teacher's longing, we intervened in the entire lower part of the facade. Creating an opening that connects the interior with the exterior, merging the piano's sound with the sound of water.
Our goal was not just to add an element to the house but to construct a unified piece that includes the facade, the floor, and the fountain. Thus, we fashioned a visual pedestal that determines the form of the fountain, and ultimately, the fountain seamlessly integrates with the floor.
